Jackson City Schools Alumni & Friends Fund

The students of Jackson County are an important piece of the Jackson Community. They represent the community’s future, and it’s our job to invest in them to make sure they succeed in any way they can. That’s why the Jackson City School District partnered with The Foundation for Appalachian Ohio (FAO) to create the Jackson City Schools Alumni & Friends Fund, a Family of Funds which represents nearly $2 million in resources to support students in the Jackson City School district.

The purpose of the Jackson City Schools Alumni & Friends Fund is to generate and disperse funds to promote academic achievement or to sponsor enrichment opportunities for individuals of the Jackson City School District. These dollars will go towards ensuring a successful future for the young adults who strengthen the Jackson community.

The Jackson City Schools Alumni & Friends Fund is a Family of Funds which includes 50 funds that provide scholarships and grants to help aid young adults in their journey through education. These funds will give a wide range of students a jumpstart to funding their post-secondary education. The collaboration between Jackson City Schools and FAO will create so many opportunities for students that they may not have had otherwise.
