Each year, the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio recognizes a Child of Appalachia Honoree. This award honors an outstanding citizen of Appalachian Ohio for his or her commitment to making a difference in the community and our region. The honorees’ stories serve as examples of what Appalachian Ohioans can achieve while emphasizing pride in our region.

Most recently, the Foundation named Marianne Campbell and Dick Hubbard as its Child of Appalachia Honorees.
